Biographical Info

At sixteen years old, I began to develop a deep connection and interest in healthy eating. Back then, I was eating the typical Standard American Diet(SAD)-meals loaded with simple carbs, processed foods, fast food and sweets. I didn’t gain weight, so what’s the big deal? I was a young athlete, riding horses and competing daily and I noticed that my energy levels were very low. Without connecting the dots back then, I started to eat a different way-organic dairy products, organic eggs, organic fruit and veggies whenever I found them, organic ancient grains, alternative protein sources, such as tofu, and minimized those bread-like carbs. My wellness journey evolved and I experimented with vegan, vegetarian, paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free lifestyles and dabbled in macrobiotics. I was a sponge and absorbed it all. 

I am a mom to five kids who were all raised eating this way. I have cleaned up our nutritional intake to exclude gluten, dairy and sugar (the three largest inflammatory food groups), over the last 10 years. I’ve taught my children how to read labels, eat out by making better choices, navigate college dorm eating and how to fuel for their respective sports. I completed the Institute for Integrative Nutrition health coach program in May of 2018 and completed the Functional Medicine Health Coaching Academy August 2019. My passion is to help people achieve their optimal health and wellness through changing lifestyle habits that last. I start with guiding clients to become more aware of their nutrition, stress factors, sleep, exercise and by looking into the other areas of their life (work, relationships, social, spiritual, family and more). We are all different and what works for one may not work for the other. I will help guide and support you on a journey that is just for you.
