Toward the end of my 28 year career as an executive in the Healthcare Industry, I became disenchanted with my role and came to realize the ill-effects it was having on my health. But it wasn’t until I became very ill after a tick bite in 2012 (eventually becoming disabled in 2016 and again in 2017), that lead me to deeply understand the importance of health and wellness. As I was navigating my own health struggles and journey back to health, I felt “called” to share my knowledge and support those with similar struggles. I have always had an interest in nutrition, but it wasn’t until my body “broke down” that I knew it was critical to get serious about it. The Functional Medicine Coaching Academy was a perfect balance between the science-based evidence and the psychology of behavior – why we make the choices we do – and more importantly, how to best support people in making lifestyle changes in order to achieve optimal health and wellness. I am FIRED UP to help you and will work HARD to inspire you to live your best life!
