Amy Sams

I currently reside in Wadsworth, Ohio with my husband of 23 years and my two teenage sons. Before Health Coaching, I was practicing in the field of medicine for 23 years as a Radiologic Technologist, specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography, Bone Densitometry, Mammography and Radiography. I have worked with patients from an array of areas such as emergency, orthopedics, neurology, gastroenterology, urology, vascular and oncology.

I’ve always had an interest in nutrition, exercise, and the mind and these experiences have brought to light even more the importance of a holistic healthy lifestyle.  After years of seeing my patients suffer, as well as challenges in my own health journey, this has become my new passion, to help educate and cheer family, friends and others on to reach success and their God-given potential.

I have long been studying lifestyle and nutrition and their impact on mind-body health in my free time for 25 years with a never yielding drive to discover what real “health” is. Documentaries of all subjects health, nutrition, and chronic disease feed my inquiring mind.  I have a genuine passion for learning.  Being in the medical field gives me a closer, eye-opening look, and I am keenly concerned about the growing issues of diabetes, heart disease, auto immune disease, and the mental decline of both children and adults.
