Lauren Goring

Hello! I’m Lauren, a certified health education specialists, a functional medicine health coach, and a recent post-bacc student striving for medical school.

I graduated from the University of Florida with my first bachelors in Health Education and Behavior. I decided to continue the health education tract and received my Certified Health Education Specialist credentials from NCHEC. I worked as a health educator in a primary care office for four years coaching patients. In 2018, I joined the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy and earned a certificate in functional medicine health coaching. I specialize in coaching patients that want to work on cognitive changes, high blood pressure, food sensitivities, and leaky gut. I also completed Dr. Dale Bredensen’s course on Reversing Cognitive Decline. Currently, I am attending the University of South Florida to earn a post-bacc degree in Biomedical Sciences to attend medical school.

Besides that, I am an avid judge/coach in the sport of baton twirling; a nature/hiking enthusiast; a sewing amateur; and biology/chemistry nerd.
